This capsule collection by The Slow Press × Yabai Yabai encapsulates the meaning of this quintessentially local term, inspired by the wet markets in Singapore.
There’s so much to discover from merely being there and soaking in the sights and sounds–through this collaboration, we’ve recreated the familiar and passed down these artefacts, in a meaningful way, to someone who finds the same joy in craftsmanship and wet markets.
We made The Slow Press & Press Lunch Bag from scratch, tailored to fit our tupperware and takeaway containers and so much more. Produced with the help of our friends at Laughing Tiger, we had lots of fun with this dream project of ours, from the conceptualisation to production stages and the shoots that we went on together.

Padi Shirts
Each shirt is silkscreen printed by our friends from Konstrukt Laboratories on Alstyle Classic 1301 shirts. We have two designs–green padi on forest green and red padi on cream.
Watermelon Shirts
Fancy some watermelon juice? We made some watermelon tees to go along with our juicy content. Our shirts are silkscreen printed on Sand-coloured Gildan Premium Cotton shirts.
